Name

BP-90î penta prism

BkP-90î penta prism with roof

Application: Penta is a five sided prism. It reflects light rays through an angle of 90° by two reflections. It does not invert or revert the image. Slight movement of the prism does not affect the true right angle at which light rays are reflected. This feature makes this prism useful for range-finders. It also shortens the length of an instrument.

Excellent for use in front of movie camera lens for taking shots off to the side without subject's knowledge.
