Manipulator EM-4725
The EM-4725 Manipulator is intended to mount chip resistors and capacitors, transistors and diodes in SOT and SOD packages, MELF type components and other surface mounted elements on the surface of printed circuit boards.
The base model is equipped with X-Y positioner with a head for surface mounting. Vacuum pipette of the surface mounting head is moved manually in horizontal plane of the manipulator by a handle to carry and attach a picked up component. It can be moved vertically and rotated as well. Printed circuit boards are fixed on the table. The manipulator has a comfortable movable armrest.
Components to be attached can be on stages, in blister tapes, cassettes, or other carriers.
Depending on a device the manipulator can be equipped with the following options:
- television system for alignment and visual control of chip components and integrated circuits with lead pitch more than 1 mm;
- optical television system for alignment of integrated circuits with lead pitch less than 1 mm;
- rotating multiple table with stages for loose components totalling up to 24 pieces;
- manual feeder of components in strips of blister tape;
- manual feeder of components in blister tape in reels;
- tables for fixation of cassettes with integrated circuits in QFP and other packages;
- pneumatic dispenser for glue or solder preapplication on a printed circuit board directly on the manipulator;
- hot air soldering system;
- electric vacuum pump for off-line operation;
- ejector vacuum pump (if there is compressed air line and no vacuum line in a workshop).
